I am a male Ugandan aged 32 years with a Masters of Business Administration Oil and Gas Management, Professional course in Procurement (CIPS) (Level 4, 5 and 6 complete, awaiting for arrival of level 6 certificate) and a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics Management from Uganda Christian University with a second class upper degree (CGPA 4.32).
I did my internship with National Water and Sewerage Corporation, where I worked under the Procuring and Disposing unit for four months. After graduation, I worked with Western Logistics Limited for 2 years as an Assistant Procurement Officer. I also worked as a Stock Controller at Crown Beverages Limited (Pepsi). I later worked with DT Logistics as a Stores Manager and later changed role to Procurement officer thus heading the function.
I have experience in contract management, managing the buyer - supplier relationships, pre-qualification of suppliers, on time procurement, among others.
I am a skilled, team player, enterprising, self-motivated, person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, I coordinate and handle all suppliers and do planning and budgeting. I am computer literate and I work well with ERP systems like Tally, Oracle, Odoo; and also with MS office packages (MS Word, MS Excel, Power point presentation, Internet etc.), with knowledge of the PPDA ACT, harbouring the desire of enhancing my career in the field of procurement. I thrive on new challenges and my innovative approach along with my desire to learn will prove to be an asset to my employer.
